About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Social Media Manager / Content Marketing Manager to lead our social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement. You will play a key role in developing and executing creative content that aligns with our brand and resonates with both restaurants and their customers.

This role requires someone who can manage all aspects of content production from strategy and planning to filming, editing, and publishing. You’ll be working closely with our COO and CEO, who’ll be there to guide and support you along the way.

Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy & Planning: Develop a social media content strategy that aligns with our brand's goals and resonates with our target audience (restaurants and customers)

  • Content Creation: Produce engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), including images, short-form videos, and written posts. Videos can be filmed and edited in-house, with an emphasis on authenticity over high production quality

  • Video Production: Film and edit simple, high-quality videos showcasing products, services, promotions, and restaurant features

  • Social Media Management: Manage the day-to-day activities of our social media channels, including scheduling, posting, and monitoring engagement

  • Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely manner to build a loyal online community

  • Analytics & Reporting: Track the performance of social media campaigns, analyze insights, and adjust strategies as necessary to improve engagement, reach, and brand awareness

  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure content is fresh, engaging and relevant

Qualifications

You should have:

  • Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing (1-3 years preferred)

  • Strong ability to create content independently, including filming, editing, and writing captions (experience with simple editing software like Adobe Premiere Rush, Canva, or mobile editing apps)

  • A good understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and how to maximize engagement

  • Highly organized and able to to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Creative, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • A portfolio or examples of your previous work (e.g., social media pages you've managed, content you've created)

  • Experience with paid social media advertising (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.).

  • A passion for food, restaurants, or the hospitality industry!
