About the Role
As our Financial Director, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations and strategic decision-making. You will work closely with the CEO, department heads, and cross-functional teams to ensure the company's financial health and long-term sustainability.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies and policies to support the company's growth and objectives
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to monitor the company's financial performance
Manage the company's cash flow, investments, and capital structure to optimize financial resources
Identify and mitigate financial risks, and implement appropriate controls and compliance measures
Collaborate with the leadership team to evaluate and make strategic decisions that will drive the company's financial success
Serve as the company's financial spokesperson and liaison with investors, lenders, and other external stakeholders
Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry
Proven track record of financial management and strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting using advanced financial modeling techniques
Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in the fintech industry
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information for both technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build and manage a high-performing finance team
CPA or MBA in Finance or Accounting preferred
