About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional Sales leader to head our revenue growth efforts. You will be responsible for building the sales org (e.g. recruiting & hiring, designing team structure), implementing KPIs and incentive structures, creating sales collateral, managing the performance of the team, and will be responsible for the entire sales organization’s results.
Our fast growth and focus on continuous improvement means that we are constantly updating our product offering to support the sales process. You will work closely with our COO & CEO who will provide support with the aforementioned responsibilities, help closing larger deals, and regular coaching.
Responsibilities
Set up the organization: Work with founders to create a team structure, incentive scheme, targets, and performance management system
Drive the team culture: Leading this team, you are responsible for creating a proactive, hungry, can-do attitude culture of go-getters
Own sales collateral: As the leader of the team closest to the customer, it is up to you to figure out and constantly adapt our sales material to best sell our product
Train the team: Experiment with getting your hands dirty (e.g. doing the cold calls and customer meetings) to figure out what works best, joining team sales calls to coach and train the rest of the organization
Performance management: Create, analyze, and discuss sales performance across the funnel to constantly improve our outreach and efficiency
Qualifications
Experience in setting up and/or leading a sales organization, preferably at a young company in the hospitality sector
Good understanding of sales process, tools, and dynamics
A commitment to excellent customer service
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build relationships with potential customers
Able and excited to work comfortably in a fast-paced startup environment
Competency with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word
