About the Role
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer to join our growing team, building a SaaS platform that modernizes paint distribution and workshop management for Fortune 500 clients in the automotive sector. With the product launch nearly complete (~90%) and a second enterprise client instance on the horizon, you’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing our deployment workflows and maintaining scalable, reliable infrastructure.
Responsibilities
AWS Cloud Management: Handle EC2 instance scaling, S3 storage, Route53 DNS management, and ECR Docker registry integration
CI/CD Pipelines: Design and maintain automated workflows using GitHub Actions or similar tools
Database Management: Deploy, monitor, and manage backups for MongoDB Atlas
Infrastructure as Code: Implement and maintain infrastructure using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Monitoring & Logging: Set up and manage tools for application monitoring and log analysis
Team Collaboration: Work with backend and frontend teams to streamline deployment workflows
Qualifications
Must-Have:
2+ years of experience in DevOps
- AWS Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with core services:
EC2 (Instance management, scaling)
S3
Route53 (DNS management)
ECR (Docker registry integration)
CI/CD Pipelines: Proficiency with GitHub Actions (or similar tools like GitLab CI/Jenkins)
Database Management: Experience with MongoDB Atlas (deployment, monitoring, backups)
Infrastructure as Code
Monitoring & Logging
Collaboration: Ability to work with backend/frontend teams on deployment workflows
Communication: Fluent English for remote teamwork
Nice-to-Have:
CDN (CloudFront, Fastly) for optimizing static asset delivery
Experience with automated testing integration in CI/CD (e.g., security scans, load testing)
Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for AWS
