About the Role
The Marketing Director will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's digital presence, managing social media and website content, and driving promotional campaigns. Additionally, the Director will handle public relations, acting as the hotel's spokesperson, while collaborating across departments to ensure consistent communication, uphold brand standards, and manage budgets effectively. Also supporting spearheading partnerships efforts by cultivating relationships with local partners to bring culturally relevant and brand-aligned events that generate revenue and enhance the hotel's reputation.
Responsibilities
- Manage the hotel's marketing, advertising, and corporate image budgets, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
- Supervise the hotel's digital presence, including website content and social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
Oversee the execution of large-scale brand collaborations at the local level.
Manage communication, promotion, and guest lists for key programming events.
Collaborate with Sales and other departments to create and manage promotional campaigns and offers.
Handle all public relations requests and serve as the official spokesperson for the hotel.
Develop and execute PR plans and press releases, ensuring timely communication of hotel initiatives.
Oversee corporate image and photoshoot requests, working with relevant departments to execute effectively.
Develop and maintain relationships with local partners to create culturally relevant, brand-aligned events that drive revenue and expand the audience.
Act as a cultural ambassador alongside the Culture & Music Manager to position the hotel as a cultural hub.
Qualifications
5 - 10+ years of experience in the hotel industry in the same capacity
Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills
Posses superb understanding of the Public Relations/Media landscape
Strong local connection within the cultural industries (music, art, film, fashion,
etc.)
Work well under pressure and attention to detail
