About the Role
As the IT Manager, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our technology and business teams. Reporting to the IT Director, you will be responsible for managing IT projects related to our e-commerce platforms and ensuring that they meet the needs of the Marketing and Sales teams. Your strong background in e-commerce, CRM, ERP, and project management will be essential in leading vendor collaborations, overseeing system implementations, and optimising our technology stack to drive business success. You will act as the right-hand person to the IT Director, positioning yourself as a future leader within the company.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to gather and understand their technology requirements, particularly in the context of e-commerce
Manage IT projects related to e-commerce, CRM and ERP (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics), ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to business requirements
Oversee vendor relationships for the development and implementation of applications and software, acting as the main point of contact between internal teams and external vendors
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of e-commerce platforms with CRM and ERP systems
Support data analytics initiatives by working with the data analyst to build and optimise dashboards for better decision-making
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in e-commerce, CRM, and ERP technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the company
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business goals
Assist the IT Director in developing and implementing IT strategies that support the companys growth and innovation objectives
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience in IT management in the e-commerce field with a track record of leading successful IT projects
Extensive knowledge of hardware and software systems, including ERP and e-commerce platforms
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
Experience with SAP, Salesforce, and other relevant technologies
Excellent leadership and team management skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
