About the Role

The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Manager or Director to support various marketing initiatives. This role involves coordinating logistics for on-site and off-site events, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring effective communication with attendees. The coordinator will collaborate with different departments to align marketing efforts with business objectives, assist in creating marketing materials, and ensure smooth project execution. Additionally, the role includes public relations tasks such as drafting press releases, maintaining media relationships, and handling guest and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the Marketing Manager or Marketing Director on emails, liaison, materials and follow up as needed
  • Support the planning and execution of on-site and off-site events, including guest receptions, promotional activities, and corporate functions.
  • Coordinate logistics, including vendor management, event setup, marketing materials and attendee communication.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as sales, operations, and guest services, to ensure marketing efforts align with overall business objectives.
  • Assist in the development of marketing collateral, presentations, and sales materials.
  • Ensure team members have enough information from departments to successfully execute projects to meet deadlines and satisfaction.

Public Relations and Communications:

  • Assist in drafting press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.

  • Maintain relationships with media contacts and assist in coordinating media coverage and press events.

  • Handle communication with guests and stakeholders regarding promotions, events, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or issues in a timely and effective manner from General Managers.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Experience with event planning and coordination is a plus. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software and other relevant technology (is a bonus)
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation (is a bonus)
