Providing a food supply platform, streamlining the entire food chain process, and aggregating 10,000+ food supply items for restaurants, hotels, cafes, and caterers all while delivering them to your doorstep. You will be responsible for spearheading the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy aligning with business and marketing objectives. This leadership role involves managing a team, analyzing market trends, overseeing budgets, optimizing product selection, negotiating contracts, and utilizing data to enhance sales strategies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and staying updated on industry trends are integral to achieving company growth. This position emphasizes a proactive approach to innovation and competitiveness in the dynamic field of merchandising.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive merchandising strategy aligned with the overall business objectives and marketing goals
  • Lead and manage a team of merchandising professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management
  • Identify and analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making
  • Develop and manage merchandising budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve financial targets
  • Oversee the selection, sourcing, pricing, and promotion of all merchandise, ensuring optimal product mix and profitability
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize merchandising strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and finance, to achieve the companys growth
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in merchandising, and implement innovative solutions to enhance competitiveness


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in merchandising leadership, preferably within the food industry
  • Have a deep understanding of the pricing structure in the market and can effectively apply it to organizational context
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing merchandising strategies that drive significant sales growth and profitability
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong understanding of financial metrics
  • Experience with inventory management systems and data analysis tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs
