About the Role
As the Regional Head of Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in expanding the company footprint across Asia, with a key focus on driving the success of our joint venture. This is a regional leadership role that requires someone with strong cross-cultural communication skills, a proven business development background, and the ability to build and manage high-value partnerships across borders.
You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, growing our network of medical and corporate partners, and optimizing tools and processes to drive patient acquisition and business growth. You will serve as a key ambassador of the company brand while working closely with senior stakeholders in both internal and external networks.
Responsibilities
Sales & Patient Acquisition Strategy
- Develop and implement B2B sales strategies to acquire patients via partnerships with doctors, clinics, hospitals, and wellness centers.
- Proactively identify and onboard new referral partners across the region.
- Build relationships with medical professionals to promote the company and our joint venture's integrated services.
Strategic Partnerships & JV Focus
- Lead and manage regional partnerships with other key stakeholders across Asia.
- Develop collaborative programs with hotels, corporates, and wellness partners to enhance brand reach and revenue growth.
- Attend and represent Soma Health at regional events, conferences, and meetings to identify new growth opportunities.
Sales Enablement & Optimization
- Recommend and implement sales tools, CRM systems, and processes to streamline business development efforts.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create effective engagement tools for agents and partners.
- Monitor sales performance, conduct market analysis, and provide strategic insights to improve commercial outcomes.
Stakeholder Communication & Team Support
- Ensure clear, professional communication with external partners and internal teams.
- Train and support local agents and partners offerings and value proposition.
- Act as the primary liaison between the company and JV/regional partners to ensure smooth collaboration and aligned goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or B2B sales, preferably in healthcare, wellness, or hospitality industries.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable outcomes for the company.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate opportunities and overcome challenges.
- Proficiency in business modeling, cost analysis, and creating high-impact presentations.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with wellness products and services and medical concepts is preferred.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel as needed for events, meetings, and roadshows.
Language Proficiency
- Fluent in English
