We're looking for a Head of Mall Operations & Facilities to oversee the smooth functioning of our facilities and provide a safe and comfortable environment for our customers. Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the shopping mall, ensuring smooth functioning of all facilities, services, and amenities

  • Supervise the maintenance and upkeep of the mall's facilities, including common areas, parking lots, elevators, escalators, restrooms, and landscaping

  • Implement and enforce safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of visitors, tenants, and staff. Coordinate with security personnel and emergency response teams to handle any incidents effectively

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing their concerns, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with lease agreements and mall policies

  • Develop and manage budgets for operations and maintenance activities. Monitor expenses, negotiate contracts with vendors, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service standards

  • Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction by addressing feedback, implementing improvements, and organizing events or promotions to enhance the overall shopping experience

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, health and safety standards, and environmental regulations relevant to mall operations and facilities management

  • Lead and motivate a team of operations and facilities management professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, facilities management, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification in facilities management is desirable

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in facilities management, property management, or related roles, preferably in a retail or commercial real estate environment

  • Demonstrated experience in managing a diverse team, overseeing operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment

  • Comprehensive understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, and facilities management best practices. Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and fire safety protocols is essential

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address operational challenges, resolve conflicts, and implement effective solutions in a dynamic environment

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with tenants, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders effectively. Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely

  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget development, expense management, and cost control measures. Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize resource allocation

  • Dedication to delivering excellent customer service and enhancing the overall shopping experience for visitors and tenants alike. Ability to anticipate customer needs and respond proactively to meet their expectations
