About the Role

As the Senior Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our client base within a designated territory. You will leverage your deep understanding of the food and beverage industry, as well as your exceptional relationship-building skills, to foster strong partnerships with both existing and prospective customers. Your ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities will be crucial in achieving our ambitious growth targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within your assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at existing and potential client accounts
  • Effectively communicate the unique value proposition of our products and services, tailoring your approach to the specific needs of each customer
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring that all terms and conditions are satisfactory to both parties
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted sales and promotional campaigns
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance metrics to the sales management team
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new sales opportunities
  • Mentor and guide junior sales representatives, sharing your expertise and coaching them to achieve their full potential

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role within the food and beverage industry, with a proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate with both C-suite executives and procurement specialists
  • Strong understanding of the food and beverage industry, including market trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscape
  • Proficient in the use of sales enablement tools, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and data analysis
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a demonstrated commitment to achieving shared goals
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel within your assigned territory
