About the Role
As a Mid-Level Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our POS solutions within the restaurant and hospitality market. You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and managing a portfolio of key accounts. Responsibilities
Actively prospect and identify new target markets, customer segments, and strategic partners
Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans to expand our customer base and revenue streams
Engage with prospective clients, understand their unique business needs, and present tailored POS solutions
Negotiate contracts and manage the sales process from initial contact to contract closure
Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and implementation teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking activities to build brand awareness and expand our reach
Provide regular reports and insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and pipeline development
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in a business development or account management role, preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, or technology industry
Proven track record of successfully identifying, cultivating, and closing new business opportunities
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with C-level executives
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales environments
Familiarity with the restaurant and hospitality industry, including an understanding of POS systems and operational workflows
Proficient in utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) tools and data analysis
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
