About the Role
The Applications Specialist/Product Specialist plays a pivotal role in the company, as a knowledge hub you will be ensuring seamless communication between their valued customer, sales team, and technical service team. Strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of healthcare technologies are essential for success in this role. This role plays a key part in ensuring the functionality, compliance, and optimal performance of medical device applications and alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for pre-sales activities, such as product demonstrations, participate in exhibitions, and provide support to sales and marketing for all brands within the company portfolio
- Be accountable for all pre-sales and post-sales application support and the on-site training to customers and stakeholders in designated markets/regions
- Provide post-sales applications support for customers, ensuring customer technical satisfaction and effective utilization of systems and reagents
- Communicate with the sales team to ensure all business needs are met, manage client requests, and provide problem-solving solutions
- Keep up to date with current products and research trends and support internal training sessions to ensure product knowledge is at high levels within all relevant parties
- Provide the voice of the customer to internal teams on product performance, implementation, and development areas, and identify training and documentation gaps
- As a customer-centric person, you will build and maintain a good business relationship with customers and various stakeholders
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary education in Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline
- Min 1-3 years of similar experience or 3 years experience in healthcare is preferred
Strong analytical, technical troubleshooting, and presentation skills
Highly motivated with strong problem-solving skills
- Pays great attention to detail and accuracy in work and takes pride in delivering a high-quality output
Quick learner, team player, and ability to work independently
Customer-focused/Strong networking skills.
Must be willing to travel (est. 20%) regionally and internationally as required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
