About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the CEO to drive business growth through identifying, evaluating, and establishing strategic partnerships and ventures for a wellness center startup. This role involves overseeing the planning, setup, and operational execution of a new Joint Venture, ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders while monitoring its progress. The position also organizes events, university symposiums, and roadshows to promote the company's offerings, managing logistics, and analyzing their effectiveness. You will identify and address operational inefficiencies, leverage data-driven insights to optimize processes, and maintain detailed records of business development activities while providing regular updates to the CEO on progress and opportunities.
Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership Development:
Collaborate closely with the CEO to identify, evaluate, and establish new business partnerships and ventures.
Conduct market research, analyze feasibility, and develop business cases for new opportunities.
Prepare cost proposals, business models, and compelling presentations to pitch to potential partners and stakeholders.
Joint Venture Management:
Support the planning, setup, and operational execution of a new Joint Venture aimed at serving as a key distribution channel.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth establishment and operation of the Joint Venture.
Monitor the Joint Venture's progress and provide regular updates to the CEO.
Event and Symposium Coordination:
Work with the CEO to plan and execute events, university symposiums, and roadshows to promote the companys products and services.
Oversee event logistics, including scheduling, vendor negotiations, and attendee engagement strategies.
Evaluate the success of events and symposiums through post-event analysis and feedback collection.
Process Improvement and Problem-Solving:
Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend improvements to optimize business operations.
Use data-driven insights to solve challenges related to business development activities.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of business development activities, including meeting notes, proposals, and agreements.
Provide regular reports to the CEO on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
3+ years of business development, sales, or a similar experience
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate confidently in both Thai and English.
Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable outcomes for the company.
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities to evaluate opportunities and overcome challenges.
Proficiency in business modeling, cost analysis, and creating high-impact presentations.
Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Familiarity with wellness products and services and medical concepts is preferred.
Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to travel as needed for events, meetings, and roadshows.
