About the Role

The Country Manager (CM) is responsible for managing day-to-day operations related to the Thai market, as well as driving strategic initiatives to increase revenue and profits. The CM is responsible for meeting revenue and profitability targets in the Thai market, and will directly lead the local Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, Artwork and Production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive overall top-line revenue and profitability, with a strong focus on operations

  • Develop the venture in Thailand through operational and strategic actions that align local priorities and projects with the strategy and mission defined at group level

  • Participate and lead in the planning and execution of group-level and/or local level initiatives to drive revenue growth, lower operating costs, launch better and competitively priced products, offer faster delivery lead times and excellent customer support

  • Build, lead and motivate an energetic and results-oriented team in particular the local operational teams (supply chain, sales, CS, artwork and production)

  • Maintain and improve the quality of products, services, customer support and other retention strategies

  • Develop the production capabilities (in-house and outsourced) with a focus on profitability, turnaround times, and general efficiency/ productivity

  • Identify opportunities and potential for improvement

  • Monitor the annual budget, ensure that revenue/ sales and profitability targets are met

  • Deliver measurable results and ensure regular reporting of your actions and results

  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders and business partners (internal and external) in particular key suppliers

  • Collaborate with other teams within the the Group (e.g. development, marketing, etc.) and drive group initiatives


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience, including 2 years in general management

  • Strong background in operations, supply chain, or sales

  • Knowledge of the Thai market and proven success in revenue growth

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and project management skills

  • Independent, disciplined and proactive team player

  • Results-oriented with strong business acumen

  • Able to translate group strategy and mission into locally relevant action plans

  • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills

  • Bachelors degree (Master's preferred) in business/ supply chain management

  • Experience in international or multinational environments is a strong plus
