About the Role
As the Commercial Director at Fusion Technologies, you will play a strategic role in driving the company's commercial growth and revenue generation. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for leading the sales, marketing, and customer success teams, ensuring the successful execution of our go-to-market strategy. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's commercial strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives and growth targets
- Lead and manage a high-performing team of sales, marketing, and customer success professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship
- Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities, leveraging market intelligence and customer insights to inform product and service development
- Oversee the sales pipeline, forecasting, and revenue generation, implementing effective processes and systems to drive consistent growth
- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to ensure the commercial offerings are aligned with customer needs and market demands
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers, positioning Fusion Technologies as a trusted and innovative technology provider
- Analyse and interpret sales and marketing data to inform strategic decision-making and optimise the company's go-to-market approach
- Represent the company's commercial capabilities to external stakeholders, including investors, industry events, and media.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in commercial leadership roles, preferably in the technology or software industry
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and commercial success in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Exceptional understanding of sales and marketing strategies, customer relationship management, and go-to-market best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience in leading and motivating high-performing teams, with a focus on talent development and employee engagement
