Our company is a technology-driven B2B marketplace specializing in agricultural inputs, from fertilizers, agrochemicals, seeds, livestock, to agricultural tools. Based in Bangkok, our primary objective is to help over 72 million small-scale farmers across the Indochina peninsula. We aim to streamline the procurement process for farm inputs and related financing by fostering inclusive partnerships with farm shops, agricultural cooperatives, and farmer communities.


About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth in the agriculture and agrochemicals sectors, managing the sales pipeline, and mentoring a team of talented sales professionals. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the overall business by implementing effective sales strategies and empowering your team to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets within the agriculture and agrochemicals markets

  • Manage and coach a team of Account Executives specializing in the agriculture and agrochemicals industries, providing ongoing feedback and career development guidance

  • Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the agriculture and agrochemicals sectors

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer success, to align sales efforts and support the unique needs of agriculture and agrochemicals clients

  • Foster a strong sales culture and motivate the team to exceed individual and team goals in the agriculture and agrochemicals industries

  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to business leadership, with a focus on the agriculture and agrochemicals markets

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and best sales practices in the agriculture and agrochemicals sectors

  • Continuously optimize sales processes and implement innovative sales initiatives to better serve the agriculture and agrochemicals markets

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of proven success in a senior-level sales management role, with a focus on the agriculture and agrochemicals industries

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding ambitious sales targets in the agriculture and agrochemicals sectors

  • Excellent people management and team-building skills, with experience leading sales teams serving the agriculture markets

  • Strong business acumen and deep understanding of the agriculture sector

  • Great communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders in the industry

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with a preference for those with a background in agriculture
