Responsibilities
Overall maintenance of the engineering systems within the shopping center to ensure they are fully operational
Supervising, advising, and training technical teams to enhance their capabilities in performing their duties
Conducting inspections and overseeing the maintenance of all systems by developing yearly preventive maintenance plans for various systems, including compiling various reports
Prioritizing safety concerns for tenants and service users within the shopping center and all departments
Planning and controlling system operations according to plans and budgets allocated for maintenance when contracting external companies or subcontractors for preventive maintenance, repairs, alterations, or system updates
Holding weekly or monthly meetings with the technical team to coordinate tasks and oversee contractors, both internally and externally, within and around the shopping center
Planning and maintaining stock of technical equipment and materials, inspecting and approving the procurement of consumables and technical equipment, including waste disposal
Managing the delivery or return of leased spaces within rented rooms or common areas regarding system operations, as well as coordinating activities with other departments when organizing various events
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering is preferred)
A minimum of 10 years of Experience, significant work experience in electrical engineering roles, preferably in building systems or facilities management, ensures a deep understanding of the complexities and requirements of the role
Holding a professional license demonstrates the candidate's competence and compliance with regulatory standards in electrical engineering
Proficiency in designing, installing, operating, and maintaining electrical systems is essential for overseeing and managing the electrical infrastructure of buildings
Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting electrical systems, analyzing electrical problems, and implementing effective solutions is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of building electrical systems
Ability to lead and manage teams effectively, coordinate with various stakeholders, and oversee projects to completion is vital for success in this role
Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations is necessary to ensure compliance and safety in electrical installations and operations
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills are necessary for diagnosing electrical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing appropriate corrective measures
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for effectively liaising with internal teams, external contractors, and other stakeholders
Attention to detail is critical for ensuring accuracy in electrical system designs, documentation, and maintenance procedures to prevent costly errors or safety hazards
