About the Role
This role involves leading corporate strategy and business development, including building new business units, forming partnerships, and managing special projects. It requires strong leadership to drive success across all areas, representing Ion in stakeholder relationships, and providing strategic insights. Responsibilities also include developing marketing strategies, overseeing sales teams, setting targets, and ensuring the achievement of commercial goals. Additionally, the role involves problem-solving and managing team performance to meet sales KPIs and deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Lead Ions Corporate Strategy & Business Development, including but not limited to building new BU, forming partnerships, leading special projects, and managing strategy-related operations (e.g. Marketing, data analytics)
Exhibit strong leadership, management, and judgment to drive Ion to success in all areas
Represent Ion and lead relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders as required
Provide insights and expertise; help shape the team's perspective and thinking
Lead and manage new partnerships and special projects implementation (e.g., engaging new business partnerships & distribution channels)
Develop marketing strategies for company, conduct market research and data analytics
(bonus) act as product owner
- Drive Ion's commercial success: develop, propose, and execute goals and objectives for both Commercial & Industrial, and residential teams
Propose team and individual targets and objectives (e.g., new ways of working, new lead channels, marketing campaigns etc.); Conduct, manage and develop processes for the sales team to achieve sales KPI
Diligently track and manage team performance to meet and exceed all sales targets; ensure consistently high quality and timely deliverables, and highly efficient work process
Problem-solve any situations that may arise; strong judgment to quickly solve problems, escalate issues, or leverage external help where necessary
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance/Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields
Experience in partnership, business development, project management, cash flow modeling
Strong leadership and team management, with good analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple priorities
