Head of Healthcare AI

About the Role

As the Head of Healthcare AI, you will lead the development and growth of the company's AI business, shaping the company's AI strategy and turning emerging technologies into practical, scalable solutions for hospitals and healthcare organizations.

This role combines AI strategy, business development, solution consulting, and commercial leadership. You will identify high-value AI opportunities across the healthcare ecosystem, work closely with customers and senior stakeholders to understand their challenges, and lead the development of solutions that create measurable business and clinical impact.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company's AI business strategy and roadmap
• Identify and develop high-value AI opportunities across hospitals and healthcare organizations
• Lead strategic discussions with customers and senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify AI opportunities
• Develop and grow the company's AI solution portfolio, including Agentic AI, Medical AI, and AI-powered healthcare solutions
• Lead the commercial development of AI opportunities, including business cases, proposals, POCs, and go-to-market strategies
• Oversee AI solution design and delivery in collaboration with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams
• Build strategic partnerships with AI technology providers, healthcare organizations, and other ecosystem partners
• Drive AI revenue growth, pipeline development, and strategic account expansion
• Build and lead the AI business team, developing capabilities and best practices as the function grows
• Stay ahead of emerging AI and healthcare technology trends and identify opportunities for the company to innovate and differentiate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• 7+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:
  • AI Business Development
  • AI Solution Consulting
  • Solution Architecture
  • Digital Transformation Consulting
  • Enterprise Technology Consulting
  • Technical Pre-sales
  • Enterprise Software / AI Product Management
  • Technology Strategy
• Proven experience leading enterprise AI, digital transformation, or technology initiatives
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, including LLMs, Generative AI, Agentic AI, machine learning, and AI application architectures
• Experience translating business challenges into commercially viable technology or AI solutions
• Proven experience working with enterprise customers and senior/C-level stakeholders
• Strong business development and commercial acumen, with experience developing pipelines, proposals, business cases, or strategic accounts
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from discovery through implementation
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, APIs, data, and AI platforms
• Experience working with technology vendors, strategic partners, or system integrators
• Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to bridge business, technical, and commercial perspectives
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to move from high-level vision to execution
• Healthcare, MedTech, hospital technology, or digital health experience is highly preferred
