About the Role
This position is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing strategic business relationships with suppliers and manufacturers of medical equipment, consumables, and ingredients. This role will negotiate favorable pricing and terms on behalf of the clinic, ensure supplier compliance through rigorous quality control processes, and collaborate closely with the medical and management teams to continuously enhance the quality and cost-efficiency of clinical resources.
Responsibilities
Supplier Relationship Management:
Identify and establish relationships with new suppliers and manufacturers.
Actively search for innovative suppliers providing high-quality medical equipment, consumables, and ingredients.
Negotiation & Pricing:
Negotiate optimal pricing, contracts, and terms of agreements to achieve cost savings and maintain profitability.
Continually assess market trends and competitive pricing to ensure the clinic remains competitive and efficient.
Quality Control & Compliance:
Implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure suppliers comply with required medical standards, documentation, certifications, and manufacturing practices.
Regularly audit suppliers and manufacturers to maintain consistent product quality and reliability.
Collaboration & Coordination:
Work closely with medical teams to understand specific clinical requirements and translate them into procurement objectives.
Liaise with management to align business development strategies with the clinic’s long-term goals.
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities for sourcing improved medical supplies and equipment.
Provide regular updates and reports to the management team on supplier performance, market opportunities, and cost management initiatives.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all supplier agreements, negotiations, and quality assessments.
Prepare detailed reports outlining the results of quality control assessments, negotiations, cost savings, and strategic initiatives.
