Generative AI Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer specializing in AI, not just an AI enthusiast.

The ideal candidate has strong computer science fundamentals and hands-on experience building production-ready AI systems.

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable software systems that integrate Generative AI and LLM technologies. This role requires strong engineering discipline, experience working with modern AI tools, and the ability to build reliable systems for real-world applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable generative AI systems that meet performance, latency, and cost requirements
• Develop production-ready applications integrating LLMs and AI models
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate generative AI solutions
• Evaluate generative AI models for accuracy, reliability, bias, and performance
• Implement LLM-based solutions such as RAG systems, prompt pipelines, and AI agents
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to identify business use cases for generative AI
• Provide technical guidance on the best ways to apply AI solutions in real-world environments
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, LLMs, and software engineering best practices

Qualifications

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, Big-O analysis)
• Strong proficiency in Python and the ability to write clean, maintainable code
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML projects (traditional ML or applied AI)
• Experience working with Generative AI / Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Practical experience with RAG systems, prompt engineering, or AI agents
• Strong technical communication skills

Strongly Preferred

• Experience deploying production-grade GenAI systems
• Familiarity with GenAI evaluation strategies and model performance testing
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud deployment pipelines
• Active use of AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Codex

Nice to Have

• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or vector databases
• Experience with frontend technologies such as React
• Experience designing scalable AI system architectures
• Language Proficiency
• Fluent in English (and Thai is a plus)
