About the Role

This is not a traditional software engineering role. As the Senior Product Engineer (AI), you'll combine deep technical expertise with strong product thinking, owning the journey from customer problem to production-ready solution. You'll work closely with the CTO, CEO, and customers to shape product direction, architect AI systems, rapidly prototype new ideas, and bring innovative products to market.

The ideal candidate naturally asks "Can AI do this?" before considering traditional solutions and is passionate about building products from zero to one. You'll have significant influence over both the company's technical roadmap and product strategy while remaining highly hands-on in development. This role is approximately 70% engineering and 30% product ownership, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building, shipping, and continuously improving AI-native products.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end product development. Architect, build, ship, and iterate on Generative AI products that 250+ global brands rely on daily
• Velocity ownership. Compress the cycle time from idea to validated launch. You define the engineering process that lets us ship 6 products in 12 months without sacrificing quality
• AI-first architecture. Design LLM orchestration pipelines, RAG systems on PGVector, and agentic workflows that make our products defensible as foundation models evolve
• Product judgment. Wear the Product Owner hat when needed. Talk to brands. Read the data. Decide what to build next and what to kill
• Technical leadership. Set the bar for code quality, system design, and AI evaluation practices for engineers who follow
• Accountability for outcomes. Own the product, not just the code. You're accountable for launch metrics, brand impact, and the technical decisions that got you there

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-stack software engineering with production-grade TypeScript (Next.js + Nest.js)
• Proven product ownership - you have taken at least one product from 01 and scaled it
• AI-first mindset, you reach for an LLM before you reach for a CRUD form. You have shipped production features built on LangChain, Vercel AI SDK, or equivalent
• Growth mindset & ownership: You debug uncertainty as comfortably as you debug code
• Team player: Strong opinions, loosely held, you raise the bar without raising the temperature
