Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and take on a key role in our Rotating Equipments division. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and motors. They will also provide technical support and guidance to the operations and maintenance teams, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all rotating equipment. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the design, installation, and commissioning of rotating equipment in accordance with industry standards and specifications - Develop and implement maintenance and inspection plans for all rotating equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements - Provide technical support and guidance to the operations and maintenance teams, troubleshooting any issues and identifying opportunities for improvement - Conduct regular audits and reviews of rotating equipment performance, identifying and implementing corrective actions as necessary - Develop and maintain relationships with equipment suppliers and contractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement and maintenance of equipment - Prepare technical reports, presentations, and proposals for management and clients, communicating equipment performance and recommendations for improvement - Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development within the team Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field - Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on rotating equipment in the oil and gas industry - Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices for design, installation, and maintenance of rotating equipment - Experience with project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with clients and suppliers - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner - Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians - Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred We Offer: - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for professional growth and development - A dynamic and collaborative work environment - Exposure to a wide range of challenging and rewarding projects in the oil and gas industry If you are a highly motivated and experienced mechanical engineer with a passion for rotating equipment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity with Star Services LLC.
