Job Description:

As a Bar Bending Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating bar bending machines to bend reinforcing steel bars according to specifications. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure that all steel bars are properly bent and meet project requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate bar bending machines according to specifications and safety guidelines

- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine bending requirements

- Select and install appropriate bending tools for each job

- Adjust machine settings to achieve desired angles and bends

- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed

- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality

- Maintain and clean machines regularly to ensure proper functioning

- Communicate with construction team to ensure timely completion of projects

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

- Keep detailed records of production and materials used

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the machines

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proven experience as a Bar Bending Machine Operator in a construction setting

- Knowledge of different types of reinforcing steel bars and their bending requirements

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials

- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment

- Valid work permit and residency in the UAE
