Position: Systems Administrator

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems administration, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues

- Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure system stability and security

- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels

- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans

- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technology and system upgrades

- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users

- Maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for system improvements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years experience in IT systems administration

- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V

- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus
