Senior Machine Shop Operator (STEEL Co.)

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification in machining or

related field is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a machinist in a manufacturing or

industrial setting.

Skills:

Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.

Strong understanding of machining principles, techniques, and materials.

Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, dial
indicators).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
o
Strong commitment to safety and quality.
Physical Demands:

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Work Environment:

Industrial workshop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and fumes.
May require working in confined spaces or at heights.
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and Medical screening.
