Position: Network Analyst
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Analyst to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Network Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network protocols, security, and performance optimization, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate network infrastructure requirements, including hardware, software, and connectivity needs
- Design and implement network solutions to meet business needs and ensure optimal performance and security
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensuring timely resolution
- Conduct regular network audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement necessary security measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network compatibility and integration with other systems
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network technology, making recommendations for improvements and upgrades as needed
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT teams
- Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or a similar role
- Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Experience with network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems
- Working knowledge of network hardware, such as routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Relevant certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP, are a plus
