Senior Specialist, Purchasing

Handle the execution of Initiatives Tenders, that covers Company requirements, which aim to leverage the benefits of economies of scale to achieve maximum value for the Company.

Supervise and lead the subordinates (or as directed) to ensure that the Department KPI, procedures, processes and the HSE management system are adhered to and implemented.

Receive approved purchase requisitions (PRs) for goods and materials; reviews for accuracy and completeness regarding the scope of work, requisitioned quantities and authorization, requesting amendments from users as/when necessary; and prepares for further processing of purchase requisitions according to assigned priorities.

Ensure development of appropriate tender strategy and subsequent approvals as required.

Coordinate with End Users for the preparation of the Annual Procurement Plan.

Review, challenge and promote competitive tendering process to reduce Single Source and Sole Source requirement from User Departments.
