SECTION I: JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Health Operations Manager to support the Health Operations Director in overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient service delivery, maintaining high-quality projects activity and operations, and managing resources effectively.
SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality of projects and operations.
- Oversee daily operations of the project, ensuring smooth functioning of all departments.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff, department heads, and administrative personnel to coordinate all operational activity.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation across departments.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols.
- Lead and motivate staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Oversee the maintenance of medical equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Manage work flow and capacity planning to maximize efficiency.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and community organizations.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance and improvement programs.
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives to support the organization's long-term goals.
- Handle crisis management and emergency response situations effectively.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping practices across all departments.
- Implement quality assurance protocols to maintain high operational standards.
SECTION III: KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Educational and Technical Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree.
- Relevant certifications such as ACHE (American College of Healthcare Executives) or CMPE (Certified Medical Practice Executive).
- Experience with lean management principles and process improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of population health management and value-based care models.
- This position may require occasional evening or weekend work to address operational needs. The successful candidate must be adaptable, innovative, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining operational excellence.
Language Skills:
- Written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.
Years of Experience:
- Minimum 6 year of related experience
Nature of Experience:
- Minimum 6-10 years of related experience in Health Operations or in a similar role.
