About the job Technical Support Engineer
JOB PURPOSE
Provides plant engineering expertise to support Company in order to maintain the integrity of equipment thus ensuring safe, reliability and efficient operations that effectively meet quantitative and qualitative objectives, contractual requirements, and ensures compliance to various ISO standard requirements.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Identifies systems, sub-systems, equipment and conditions that could adversely impact plant operation through the use of reliability methodologies, as applicable. Such methodologies include bad actor analysis, reliability statistical analysis and criticality analysis.
Updates Technical and Business risks register and identifies the required mitigation actions for risks register.
Provides all available data, operation and maintenance records to support 3rd RCA and technical studies and ensure agreed deliverables.
Responsible in monitoring site audits/inspections and outage reports on the execution of quality assurance and control requirements during outage, maintenance and project works.
Administers and monitors the plant equipment modifications to meet HSEs KPIs and requirements.
Administers and prepares the report as required by Lead Technical Support and Head of Section-Engineering.
Leads by example in maintaining and improving high safety standards in accordance to QHSE procedures. Responsible in enrolling in safety tours and frequently submits observation cards related to HSE.
Performs such additional duties and responsibilities as may be required by Lead Technical Support and Head of Section-Engineering.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
Academic & Professional Qualification:
- B.Eng in Mechanical/Chemical/I&C/Electronic/Electrical Engineering.
Related Experience
- 3 years of experience in Operation and Maintenance functions.
- 6 years of experience in Engineering functions.
- Experience in MS Office and MAXIMO.
