Forklift Operator

Contract Details: This is a full-time position for an offshore oil and gas project. The contract will be for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension based on performance. Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team for an offshore oil and gas project. As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move materials and equipment around the worksite. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials, while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities: • Operate a forklift to load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and containers • Transport materials to and from storage areas and worksites • Inspect forklifts before and after use to ensure they are in good working condition • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries • Maintain accurate records of materials and equipment moved • Communicate with team members to coordinate and prioritize tasks • Perform routine maintenance on forklifts as needed • Adhere to all company policies and procedures Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid forklift operator certification • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a forklift, preferably in an oil and gas or industrial setting • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for operating a forklift • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Willingness to work offshore for extended periods of time • Flexibility to work on a rotational schedule Working Conditions: As a forklift operator for an offshore oil and gas project, you will be working in a dynamic and challenging environment. You will be required to work on a rotational schedule, which may include extended periods of time offshore. You must be physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions.
