Job Specific Accountabilities

General Maintenance Supervision

Supervises the service, repair and maintenance activities of civil and MEP works like carpentry,

painting, air conditioning, lightening, plumbing etc. 

region to ensure that maintenance is carried out in accordance with company standards, proper

engineering and technical standards and safety and environmental requirements.

Reviews and allocates all daily general maintenance work orders received from Service Stations, offices

to the technicians. Coordinates with Maintenance Planning for scheduling and implementation of

required repair and maintenance works.

Works to a set schedule with established priorities. Provides on the job supervision to technicians and

conducts inspections at site to monitor work progress and completions. Responsible to utilize technical

expertise in providing troubleshooting of problems on a day-to-day basis.

Carries out inspection of accidents at service stations in order to prepare the job scope, estimate the

cost and process a work order for in-house repair or by third party contractors.

Handles administrative issues related to the PM & CM works like preparing and generating Work

Orders, SPOs, SWOs. Initiate and invoices after completion of maintenance works (in-house or

contracted).

Coordinates with Service station Supervisors and Maintenance team electrical/mechanical supervisors

on the status of facility, preventive and repair work scheduling, Processing of Work Orders and Safety

Work Permits

Continuous Improvement, reporting and analysis
Evaluates man hours and costs on individual, maintenance and modifications to ensure optimum
utilization of manpower and material resources in implementation of scheduled maintenance programs.
Assists in establishing methods, controls and standards for the actual execution of maintenance work
Makes recommendations to Maintenance Team Leader on any modifications, and improvements
required on new constructions, replacement of underground tanks or pipelines, development of basic
plot plans and layouts, etc.
Prepares total actual cost of works including manpower, equipment, spare parts, daily work activities,
daily over time of craft men, monthly work orders report and submit to Maintenance Planning Section.
Contract Management
Prepares scope of work and Bill of material requirements and Cost estimation for all types of civil works
at service stations and other facilities which are done by in-house personnel and 3rd party contractors.
Controls and monitors 3rd party contractors in the execution of contracts and Price Agreements.
Conducts inspections to ensure safety and quality of work is maintained to stringent ADNOC standards.
Prepares report on annual Contractors evaluation.
New Projects
Support Team leader in New Project and Modification proposals review, precommissioning/commissioning activities and conducting HAZOP, HSEIA, HAZID and Risk
Assessments etc as and when required.
Other
Responsible for coordinating with HSE, instructing and training Technicians & ensuring that job is
carried out in the safest way with the least risk possible.

Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job
and deliver the respective section objectives.
Budgets
Provide input for preparation of the Department / Section budgets and assist in the implementation of
the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

Implement approved Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in
order to support execution of the Sections work programs in line with Company and International
standards.
Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.

Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department / Section in
line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational
processes.
Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line
with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability
guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and the company Code of Practices.
Participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.
Reports
Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
10 years of experience in Civil and general maintenance dept. in Oil and Gas Industry.
