Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet project deadlines and production targets.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure timely delivery of joinery products.
- Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Ensure quality control standards are met and maintain high levels of product quality.
- Manage and train production staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their duties effectively.
- Monitor and control production costs to ensure profitability.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workshop.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed.
- Prepare and submit production reports to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the joinery industry.
- Strong knowledge of joinery production processes and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of meeting production targets and deadlines.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
