  • Responsible for leading and overseeing the sales and business growth efforts on behalf of the company.
  • Duties include conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and client leads, coordinating with company leadership to maintain and develop beneficial relationships with clients, suppliers and other business partners.
  • Utilize skills in project management and leadership to increase the sales of the organization.
  • Arabic preferred (bilingual)
  • At least 10 years experience of performing a similar role
  • Strong network and understanding of oil & gas, power & water and industrial sector in the UAE / GCC
  • Strong experience in managing a team of salespeople
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify a problem and take the necessary steps to overcome it, while keeping vendor and financial limitations in mind.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical / Petroleum Engineering
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and responsible.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and customer service-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills in business Arabic and English, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships, identifying opportunities for new contracts.
  • Recruit and effectively oversee a team of sales people.
  • Bid on new projects and negotiate contract terms related to product sales, procurement, services and partnerships.
  • Project management of projects / tenders from initial bid phase to the final completion.
  • Develop relationships and generating business growth.
  • Manage team members, suppliers and customers.
  • Coordinate with overseas partners / vendors / principals.
  • Oversee projects, tenders and business development.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on commercial performance and project status to senior management.
  • Analyze trends, collect market data and intelligence and identify areas of business growth.
  • Monitor local and federal regulations.
