Roles and Responsibilities - 

Teachers are typically assigned to one school and will form part of the school community, attending assembly in the morning and be responsible for students physical and health development. Teachers are responsible for student learning within their assigned school, including student assessment and all data collection and reporting processes required by ESE and service provider. Teachers must attend formal induction training courses covering curriculum structure, company policies, health and safety, internal documentation and professional / personal conduct. Professional development is ongoing throughout employment, giving teachers the opportunity to continuously learn from both internal permanent staff and internationally recognized experts and they should get their clearance from ESE to. (Please see appendix for detailed PHE teacher job description). ESE will have the rights to ask the service provider to replace any coach at any time upon the reasons raised by ESE

· Bachelors degree in physical education and Sports Science or related field, or other teaching qualification giving QTS or teaching license. UAE equivalency certificate and teaching license or ability to obtain one during the first year of employment.· At least one coaching qualification with experience to lead the team in external competitions.· IC3, IELTS Band 7, CPR and First Aid certification.Experience Required· minimum five years of teaching experience in middle school or high school level with Physical and Health Education.· Experience delivering practical and theory-based content on Physical· Education and Health and Wellbeing.

Skills Required· Good athletic and health ability within international standards of BMI. Passion for fitness, sports and physical activities is essential to inspire· students to lead an active lifestyle inside and outside the school.· Flexibility in lesson planning and the ability to adapt to various student needs and skill levels are essential.· Strong motivational skills to encourage students to participate, improve, and set fitness short and long-term goals.· Strong leadership skills are essential for PE teachers to lead sports teams, fitness classes, and group activities in the school community.
