Health Operations Director

SECTION I: JOB PURPOSE

The Health Operations Director is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our healthcare organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to ensure efficient, high-quality healthcare delivery while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and quality of healthcare services.
• Oversee daily operations of healthcare facilities, including staffing, resource allocation, and patient flow.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Manage budgets and financial performance of operational units.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and patient satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including staff, patients, and external partners.
• Analyze operational data and prepare reports for senior management.
• Oversee risk management and quality assurance programs.
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.

SECTION III: KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Educational and Technical Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations management.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and industry trends.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proven track record in improving operational efficiency and quality of care.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in healthcare information systems and data analysis tools.

Language Skills:

• Written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.

Years of Experience:

• Minimum 12 year of related experience

Nature of Experience:

• Minimum 12 years of related experience in Health Operations or in a similar role.
