Job Overview: We are currently seeking a highly experienced Sr. Offshore Construction Engineer (Hook-up) to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the hook-up and commissioning activities of offshore oil and gas projects, ensuring that they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the hook-up and commissioning activities for offshore oil and gas projects. - Develop and implement project execution plans, schedules, and procedures. - Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any risks or issues and proposing solutions. - Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors. - Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, HSE regulations, and industry standards. - Review and approve project documentation, including procedures, drawings, and reports. - Provide technical support and guidance to the project team. - Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities and provide guidance to the construction team. - Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to project management. - Mentor and train junior engineers and construction personnel. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in offshore oil and gas construction, with at least 5 years in a senior role. - Strong knowledge of offshore construction techniques, including hook-up and commissioning. - Experience working on EPC projects in the oil and gas industry. - Familiarity with HSE regulations and industry standards. - Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple tasks. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Willingness to work on offshore platforms for extended periods of time.
