About the job Associate Engineer Measurement & Verification
Key Accountabilities:
- Coordinate M&V activities with the Energy Audit, Implementation and Project Management teams during proposal, energy audit, design, construction and commissioning periods.
- Coordinate for the review of design intent and savings calculations.
- Tracking energy bills and validate performance assurance.
- Participate in data collection and performance verification of retrofitted equipment.
- Conduct/Coordinate on-site measurements and short-term data collection during construction and post-retrofit periods as required.
- Review building baselines and develop baseline adjustments based on site reviews.
- Perform/Coordinate on-site troubleshooting and data logging to validate and correct project performance.
- Determine and forecast shortfall pay outs. Notify the management of potential savings shortfall and coordinate form of guarantee shortfall makeup. Perform any shortfall mitigation activities.
- Develop Measurement & Verification (M&V) plans, reports, and protocols for ESPC projects.
- Support in measurement protocols for different ECMs.
- Attend and coordinate client meetings for M&V activities.
Job Requirements:
A. Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science (Energy Engineering preferred)
- Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) (desired)
- UAE driving license (desired)
B. Minimum Experience
- 2-4 Years of experience;
- In engineering and energy savings calculations for performance contracting (desired).
- in executing, implementation and practice of M&V protocols and guidelines (IPMVP) (desired).
- Good knowledge in engineering and operations of HVAC, controls and electrical systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel including computational functions.
- Experience with Energy analysis tools
