Position: Shift Supervisor (Steel Co.)

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise the production team on the assigned shift, ensuring that all production targets are met.

- Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, and take appropriate action to address any safety concerns.

- Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge, and provide guidance and support as needed.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and timely production processes, and address any issues that may arise.

- Maintain accurate production records and reports, and provide regular updates to management on production performance.

- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance needs.

- Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for new team members as needed.

- Foster a positive and productive work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the steel manufacturing industry.

- Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment in the steel industry.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Proven track record of meeting production targets and improving efficiency.

- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
