Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mech. Test House Technician Rm5 to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting mechanical testing and analysis on various products and components in our test house facility. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct mechanical testing and analysis on products and components according to industry standards and specifications - Operate and maintain various testing equipment, such as tensile and compression machines, hardness testers, and impact testers - Record and analyze test data, prepare test reports, and make recommendations for improvements or modifications - Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during testing - Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times - Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained - Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in testing technology and techniques Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical testing is preferred - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mechanical testing role, preferably in a test house environment - Strong knowledge of mechanical testing methods and equipment - Familiarity with industry standards and specifications, such as ASTM, ISO, and ASME - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications - Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately record and analyze test data - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Strong commitment to safety and following protocols and procedures We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and development within our organization.
