Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Mechanic to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Plant Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of industrial equipment and machinery in our clients' plants. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery, including but not limited to pumps, motors, conveyors, and valves.

- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and develop effective solutions to resolve them.

- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning properly and identify potential problems.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.

- Order and maintain inventory of necessary parts and supplies.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures at all times.

- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding maintenance and repair work.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Plant Mechanic or similar role.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

- Experience with welding and fabrication is preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Must be able to work independently and in a team setting.

- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency repairs.
