The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning process of electrical systems on various projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable codes and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Develop commissioning plans and procedures for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems. - Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities. - Review project design and construction documents to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvement. - Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and tests to verify the integrity of electrical systems. - Lead and supervise a team of commissioning technicians and engineers. - Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the commissioning process. - Provide technical support to project teams and clients as needed. - Ensure all commissioning activities are performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies. - Prepare commissioning reports and documentation for client review and approval. - Participate in commissioning meetings and provide regular progress updates to project stakeholders. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in commissioning of electrical systems in the energy sector. - Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including NEC and IEC. - Experience with power distribution systems, lighting systems, and control systems. - Familiarity with commissioning software and tools. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
