CCM Pulpit operator

Job Title: CCM Pulpit Operator – Steel Making Plant

Job Summary:

Responsible for operating and monitoring CCM (Continuous Casting Machine) pulpit activities to ensure smooth and safe steel production operations while maintaining process parameters, product quality, and plant productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor CCM systems as per production requirements

Ensure process parameters are maintained as per process sheets and supervisor instructions

Monitor HMI/CCM alarms and process trends and report abnormalities to the supervisor

Coordinate with EAF, LF, CC control room, cranes, and other sections for smooth plant operations

Ensure availability of consumables, tools, bins, and hopper materials required for operations

Follow temperature and sampling frequency procedures to maintain product consistency

Maintain housekeeping and ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies

Respond effectively during emergency situations as per operational procedures

Support training of new employees and assist in improving plant productivity

Requirements:

Diploma / ITI qualification

Experience in Steel Making Plant / CCM operations preferred

Good technical knowledge of furnace and melting parameters

Knowledge of DRI melting applications and process troubleshooting preferred

Basic computer knowledge and data analysis skills

Good communication and coordination skills

Strong safety awareness and operational discipline
