Commercial Pricing Specialist | Int'l Law Firm | HK

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Commercial Pricing Specialist to support billing rate management, special fee arrangements, and financial analysis for legal matters. Based in the Hong Kong office and reporting to the Pricing Manager, this role requires a service‑oriented professional who can become a subject‑matter expert in pricing and build strong relationships with attorneys and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse pricing metrics and provide partners with actionable insights.
• Perform scenario analysis, forecasting, and develop pricing models to support budgeting.
• Review historical matters to help establish accurate budgets for new matters.
• Support client pitches, onboarding, and portfolio management with accurate rate data.
• Manage deadlines for pricing renewals and maintain the firm's rate and fee arrangement database.
• Analyse financial data and market trends to inform pricing strategies.
• Contribute to process improvements using data and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of commercial work experience; pricing or professional services/law firm experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large datasets with advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, macros, pivot tables, data manipulation).
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
