Intellectual Property Associate | 1-4 Years PQE | Global Law Firm | HKG

Our client, a well acclaimed global law firm, is hiring an Intellectual Property Associate to join its Hong Kong IP practice.

This role is primarily focused on trademark-related work, with exposure to broader non-contentious and contentious IP matters.

Key responsibilities:

• Advising clients on trademark prosecution, registration and portfolio management
• Assisting with IP enforcement and anti-counterfeiting matters
• Drafting and negotiating IP-related agreements and licences
• Supporting contentious IP matters including disputes and litigation
• Advising on copyright, product design and other IP-related issues

Requirements:

• 1–4 years PQE, admitted in Hong Kong or a common law jurisdiction
• Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese Mandarin is essential
• Prior experience in an IP or IP-focused practice group
• Strong academic background
• Detail-oriented with good drafting and communication skills
• Ability to manage a portfolio of matters with limited supervision
