Our client, a top-tier international law firm, seeks a sharp and passionate Intellectual Property (IP) Paralegal to join its dynamic team, to be based in their Hong Kong office.

The Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a paralegal with relevant experience to immerse themselves in the fast-paced world of international intellectual property litigation and enforcement. You will play a critical support role on a diverse portfolio, primarily focused on copyright and patent infringements, with some exposure to trademark disputes. This role is perfect for someone who is intellectually curious, thrives on challenge, and is eager to build a career at the forefront of IP law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive paralegal support on complex, multi-jurisdictional IP litigation, with a primary focus on copyright and patent cases.
  • Conduct in-depth legal and factual research using various online and internal resources.
  • Assist with all phases of the litigation lifecycle, including discovery, document production, trial preparation, and post-trial proceedings.
  • Draft, proofread, and cite-check a range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Manage and organize large volumes of case-related documents and evidence in electronic databases.
  • Coordinate with clients, experts, and external counsel across different jurisdictions.
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of court documents in compliance with relevant rules.
  • Support the team with administrative tasks related to case management.

Who You Are:

  • An experienced IP Paralegal, ideally from an international law firm environment.
  • Intellectually curious, flexible, and detail-oriented.
  • Mandarin proficiency is a significant advantage.
  • You have a passion for IP law and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
