DCM & ECM EXPOSURE | TOP TIER GLOBAL LAW FIRM | HONG KONG

A top‑tier international firm is seeking a high‑calibre junior associate to join its Capital Markets team in Hong Kong. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a strong pipeline of cross‑border DCM and ECM transactions, working with leading issuers, underwriters and financial institutions across Asia.

You will be part of a well‑established and collaborative team, with early responsibility and direct involvement in high‑profile transactions, offering a strong platform to build a technically robust and commercially rounded capital markets practice.

WHAT 
You will support on a broad range of debt and equity‑linked transactions, including international bond issuances (Reg S / 144A), MTN programmes, regulatory capital and hybrid instruments, as well as convertible bonds and other equity‑linked structures. The role involves drafting and negotiating transaction documentation, advising on listing and securities law requirements, and working closely with regulators, exchanges and global teams to execute multi‑jurisdictional deals.

YOU 
You're a qualified lawyer (Hong Kong, England & Wales or similar) with up to 2 years' PQE and relevant capital markets experience, ideally with a DCM focus at a peer firm (Legal 500 ranked international or global law firm whose team is ranked for DCM, ECM, or both). Strong drafting and analytical skills are essential, alongside a commercial mindset and the ability to perform in a fast‑paced environment. Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential.
