Mid-Level Associate (Fund Formation, Private Equity, Venture Capital)

Our client, a top US law firm, is seeking a mid-level associate with 2-5 years of experience in fund formation, private equity, or venture capital. This role offers an opportunity to work on a variety of complex transactions across multiple industries and geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the formation and structuring of investment funds, including drafting and negotiating fund documents.
• Support PE and VC transactions, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and managing closing processes.
• Participate in M&A transactions, including cross-border deals in SEA and abroad, both inbound and outbound.
• Advise on joint ventures and provide general corporate and transactional support.
• Advise multinational companies on investments, business structures, and regulatory issues in the Asia Pacific region.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in fund formation, PE, or VC. Experience in M&A is a plus.
• Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is highly desirable.
• Qualified in Hong Kong, common law jurisdictions or NY.
