Company Commercial Associate | 4-8 PQE | Law Firm | HK

A fantastic opportunity is available for an enterprising lawyer to work for an international corporate client base with this boutique law firm. This role covers a genuine mix of fee-earning and business development, supporting the partner in both client service and marketing efforts. No annual targets, with excellent work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Handle commercial contract reviews, drafting and negotiations
• Provide strategic advice to clients on investments and divestment of business interests
• Write legal articles and newsletters for clients

Qualifications:

• HK-qualified company and commercial lawyer with 4-7+ years PQE
• Experience in corporate and commercial work including drafting and reviewing terms, shareholder agreements, joint ventures, sale and purchase agreements
• Ability to manage matters independently and nurture client relations
• Highly fluent English is a must.
• Chinese language skills would be a bonus, but not mandatory for this role
• Mid-senior level in-house and PSL lawyers interested in a transition back to a commercial law firm could be considered
• Capital markets lawyers with general corporate, M&A or commercial experience and looking for stable hours are welcome.
